Education is undeniably important, yet the academic system, from my perspective, is not effective towards all students. Schools tend to focus on definite academic performances, but not the total personality of students. This doesn't only affect students' personal growth but it also sets our mind to thinking that education is just about academic performances. I believe practicality should be added into the system as well as engagement, not making students feel forced to study, but rather as a choice of theirs. There's a need to foster soft skills and help learners grow to their full potential, not only academic performances. Students also have different learning speed and talents, but we seem to squeeze them all in a structured system. I've heard of the term "mixed teaching" which could contribute. Embracing differences, uniqueness of each is vital. I don't see that here in Vietnam. Therefore, not only do we need to add in excitement and practicality but we also need to understand each's personality and capabilities

However, from my point of view, beside innovation in education system, there are more and more problems that we have to deal with to raise the awareness for students about a VUCA world as we are in now, such as the attitude of the students, parents, society,…
It’s true that education needs to evolve beyond just academics to prepare students for the challenges of Industry 4.0. Developing adaptability & a growth mindset is the key to helping them thrive in a world that's constantly changing. Students need tools to not only succeed, but also to lead and innovate.
