2025. GLOBAL CITIZENS: Daily Discovery Bootcamp
Bootcamp | 27-29 Jun 2025 | Vietnam
This summer, give your child more than just fun—give them a journey of discovery. Daily Discovery Bootcamp is a 3-day immersive experience in Bac Ninh, Vietnam where students sharpen critical thinking— while engaging with a dynamic, globally-minded learning community.
A. What is Daily Discovery—and Why Does It Matter?
Daily Discovery is season 2 (for Quarter 2.2025) of Global Citizen Program at The Learning Space - an international community of young minds. This is then converted into a camp for members who missed it out and would like to catch up on the journey of Becoming Global Citizens. It’s in fact more than a camp theme—it’s a mindset. In a fast-changing world, where children will grow up to face challenges we can’t yet predict, the ability to discover something new each day—about the world, about others, and about themselves—is a superpower.
Through observation, reflection, questioning, and story telling, Daily Discovery empowers children to stay curious, adaptable, and open-minded—the core qualities of a global citizen. Each day is designed to build not just skills, but also awareness:
Awareness of different perspectives
Awareness of how systems and communities work
Awareness of their own values and voice
By learning to connect ideas across experiences, cultures, and disciplines, children begin to see the world not as a set of boundaries, but as a shared space full of opportunities to wonder, contribute, and grow.
That’s what Daily Discovery is all about—turning everyday moments into powerful steps on the path to becoming thoughtful, confident, and compassionate global citizens.

D. RECAP OF THE 3-day BOOTCAMP
3 Days. Infinite Laughs. Zero Grown-Ups (well... almost).
Inspired by the 5 Legendary Houses (Yes, Think Hogwarts 🧙♂️)
Day 1. Friday, June 27
🌦️ The day started with a plot twist from the skies!
Rain clouds were brewing over Công Viên Hồ Điều Hòa, so the adventure was swiftly moved from Công Viên Hồ Điều to Công Viên Nguyễn Văn Cừ—just like a true magical quest.
The 5 Young Ambassadors (a.k.a. our House Heads) gathered their teams for the very first mission: Recruit your members.
Fun Fact: The girls picked only girls. The boy picked… only boys.
Cue Mentor Intervention! 🚨
New rule added: every team must have a balance of boys and girls. Democracy met diversity—just like magic.
And so it began:
5 Houses. Shy eyes. Wondering minds. Waiting for their moment to shine.
Each house huddled together to reflect on their earlier question:
"Who is Global Citizen? What makes someone a Global Citizen?"
But wait—there’s a twist!
Rule of the Day: The leader is NOT allowed to speak. Instead, it’s their job to make sure everyone else in the team has a voice.
That’s right—quiet kids got loud, loud kids learned to listen, and leaders learned that real leadership means lifting others up.
🧑⚖️ The Jury Appears: A panel of mentors and Super Parents roamed from house to house, listening to each team’s pitch like real-world VCs (Very Curious humans).
RED HOUSE - Luna’s team – The Gentle Guide: Luna didn’t lead by commanding—she led by asking. Her thoughtful prompts gave teammates space to speak. The team was first visited, had quiet start, but strong cohesion once warmed up. Every member had a voice.
GREEN HOUSE - Victor’s team – The Architect: Victor ran his team like a conductor of an orchestra—order, logic, flow. The team is highly organized, confident, and responsive. Everyone knew what to say and when. This is the only team to consistently brand themselves (Green House 💚), respond well to curveball questions, and reframe concepts in smart ways.
Fun fact: If you’re waiting to hear the real thoughts of these young minds only during the presentation—you’re missing out. Most of the deepest, funniest, most mature reflections happened on the journey, not on stage. Gotta walk with them to really hear them.
PURPLE HOUSE - Minh Anh’s team – The Quiet Backbone: Minh Anh let the team come to life at their own pace, with encouragement—not pressure. Mentors helped unlock their flow. Minh Anh’s Mic-Drop Moment: “I’m proud of my team. My team is my children.” 🥹 (And yes, everyone melted a little inside after that.)
RED HOUSE - Richard’s team - Bold, Blue, and All-English: Richard didn’t try to be flashy. He was reminded to let deep, thoughtful questions lead the way. This is Only team that presented 100% in English. Their questions were philosophical, almost poetic: “Are we the people of the world?”, “Is a global citizen more approachable?”
YELLOW HOUSE - Emma’s team - The Smallest Voices, the Deepest Thoughts: Emma was still young to take the leadership role, she held the space while her team slowly stepped into the light. The team was pretty nervous at first, but later dove into mini-debate mode once prompted properly.
“To be a global citizen, you have to travel a lot.”, one said.
“But if you don’t have good qualities, even if you travel a lot—you’re not really a global citizen.”, another one disagreed.
“But if you help people from other countries when traveling, you’re still a global citizen”, this nice counter argument bring in everyone’s agreement
Final Reflection:
There was no "best" team—only different strengths.
Some teams shined through structure.
Others, through trust.
Some started strong.
Others grew in the moment.
But all 5 teams proved this: Every child, given space and care, has something powerful to say.
🪢 The Parachord Surprise – Tied Up in Teamwork (Literally)
After the presentations wrapped up, it was time for something hands-on: Make your own parachord! 🧶 Simple? Not exactly. Or so we thought...
A Concerned Parent Whispered: "This might take… an hour?"
Plot twist: It took less than ten minutes.
What happened instead? Suddenly, every corner of the space turned into a buzzing workshop:
Fingers flying
Kids yelling (in joy, mostly)
Some cords tangled, some perfect
All of them laughing and learning as they went
The Result: Every team completed their paracord in record time. Everyone helped each other out (even across houses!)
And the room? A chaotic, creative blast of energy
Sooooo…..Don’t underestimate kids when they’re curious and supported.
Sometimes the things you think will slow them down… actually light them up.
— — —
🍦 Lunch break – Ice Cream, Coffee Shops & Creative Chaos
With the paracord mission complete and a scoop of ice cream happiness in their bellies, our adventurers took a well-earned lunch break.
But then… the weather had other plans. So, like any great explorers, we adapted.
Plot Twist: Coffee Shop Takeover. Due to the drizzle, we shifted our afternoon into a cozy local coffee shop.
While the kids rested, our TeamFD mentors turned into full-on negotiators, to make it 15k/drink for kid so that parents do not have to spend too much more than the planned budget! 🧑💼⚔️
— — —
🛠️ Afternoon Challenge: DIY or Die (Not Literally)
Each house received a mystery box of random, recycled materials: 🧻 paper rolls, 🍃 dried leaves, 🖍️ tape, ✂️ scrap bits of string, carton box...
Mission: "Make something cool—anything—that can be SOLD to real people on the last day at our Expo!" (Yes, this means parents, friends, other kids and even strangers could buy it 😲)
Here’s What Happened:
Chaos.
Then cutting.
Then more chaos.
Then... a bit of magic. ✨
Kids were tearing, taping, puzzling, improvising. Some designs flopped. Others flew. One team made a puppet. Another tried a flying object. One invented something unnameable but very passionate.
And the Real Lesson? Sometimes, the thing you create won’t match your first idea. But that’s okay. Because they learnt that the joy is in the making, not just the outcome.
What They Learned Without Realizing:
How to work with limited resources
How to be flexible when the plan doesn't work
How to find pride even in imperfect results
How to see value in “trash”
How to start thinking like a maker, builder, problem-solver
And best of all: They now have something they made themselves, to share with the world on Expo Day.
— — —
👀 Meanwhile, on the Other Side of the Planet…
While the kids were deep in their DIY challenges, something sneaky was happening in the other corner of the...
🪑 Parents were relaxing—finally—taking a breath, chatting, maybe pretending not to hear their names shouted every 2 minutes.
But their break didn’t last long.
🎤 Surprise twist:
They were suddenly cast in a brand new role:
🧳 The Investors.
Each parent got a front-row seat to hear the Young Ambassadors pitch their missions for the upcoming Expo.
No slides. No fluff. Just heart, ideas, and conviction.
The parents listened, asked real questions, and saw firsthand the level of thought and leadership their kids were stepping into.
💬 One parent whispered, “I thought I was just here to chill…”
Too late. You’ve been recruited. Welcome to the adventure.
— — —
📓 Turning Moments into Memories
As the sun dipped low and the buzz of tape, glue, and scissors faded… It was time to slow down. 🕯️ Each child received a small piece of paper. Not too big. Just enough for thoughts that mattered: The task: “Write a journal of your day.” “What did you learn?” “What role do you want to take on Expo Day?”…
And suddenly—quiet.
The same room that had echoed with laughter and DIY debates… turned into a nest of soft scribbles, sketching, and deep little thoughts.
This was the moment their busy hands turned into thinking minds. A moment where each kid paused and saw their own role in a bigger picture.
Because learning doesn’t always look like teaching. Sometimes it looks like a child sitting quietly, pen in hand, turning their day into something they can carry.
— — —
The first day of Daily Discovery wrapped up right on time—a rare miracle in kid-led programs 😄 The kids left buzzing with energy, carrying their handmade paracords and already asking what’s next.
Laughter echoed. Teams felt real. The spark had officially been lit.
Behind the scenes, the organizing team was facing a real-life VUCA moment.
Different visions clashed, roles blurred, and the air got a little… tense 😬
But like the kids, we had to lean in:
🧭 We paused.
🔧 Recalibrated roles.
🤝 Recommitted to the purpose of the journey, despite the partner seemed not to be there. But we can’t just stop, we had to move forward, with or without them.
Because if we’re teaching kids about Global Citizenship, collaboration, and adaptability—We’d better be ready to practice it ourselves.
— — —
👀 Highlighted Moments:
Tú Ly, 10 years old from Hanoi, shared that to become a good global citizen, you need to master two important languages: Vietnamese & English. Not only was that a thoughtful take—it was powerful because she honored her mother tongue as part of global citizenship.
Phúc, 7.5 years old from Hanoi asked: “Làm thế nào để Công dân toàn cầu xây dựng một thế giới văn minh?”.
Chin and the Parachord
Chin—one of the youngest and cheekiest boys in the group—came over with a grin and a sparkle in his eyes. “Dav,” he said proudly, “this is my little brother… and my mom.”
Then, with hopeful sincerity, he asked,
“Dav, when you come back from Singapore next time… can you bring me a parachord as a gift?”
DAV79 smiled.
“Of course, Chin,” he replied without hesitation.
But then he paused. Why wait?
“Actually… why don’t we get you one now?”He quietly made his way to the little shop they fondly called The Chamber of Secrets. Luna, the head of the space, was busy with something else. DAV79 waited for a moment, but not wanting to disrupt her flow, he gently took a parachord and made a mental note to explain it to her later.
When he handed the parachord to Chin, the boy’s eyes lit up—then narrowed in curiosity.
“Is this the one I made?”
DAV79 hesitated, then answered honestly.
“Maybe not.”
And just like that, Chin handed it back.
In that small, quiet gesture, DAV79 saw something profound: Chin wasn’t asking for a thing. He was holding onto a memory. A moment of creation. The value wasn’t in the parachord—it was in making it.
That moment touched DAV79 deeply. He knew, quietly but certainly, that he wanted to watch Chin grow—to see where that kind of heart and awareness might lead.
It reminded him that while many chase after worldly things, some children already hold something far more precious:
Not the product itself, but the pride of their own effort.
Not the object, but the story behind it.
Not the gift, but the quiet meaning they’ve woven into something made with their own hands.

Day 2. Saturday, June 28
After a solid Day 1, the kids showed up to Day 2 with sparkling eyes, quicker footsteps, and a whole lot more noise (the good kind!). While the adults were still waking up, the kids were ready for adventure.
🧠 Mindful Observation – Scan the Surrounding
The day started with a beautifully chaotic warm-up called "Scan the Surrounding"—originally meant for another park, but rain had other plans. So we adapted.
Inspired by a psychologist named Dr. Matt, we explored a powerful idea:
Mindful observation is not just about “seeing.”
It’s about using all five senses: smelling, touching, listening, and even imagining.
Each team went exploring—picking leaves, twigs, fallen petals—and turning them into stunning nature collages. One team recreated a bird not just with flowers, but built an entire scene around it. Some even used wild textures and shadows to express emotion in their pieces.
We were honestly blown away. What we thought would be a messy sensory challenge turned into a gallery-worthy exhibition.
Then Came the Jury… With a Twist
After the creative frenzy, each team got a visit from the Jury of Mentors, who went around to listen to team presentations. But—this wasn’t just show-and-tell. There was a twist in the scoring system. 🔄
- Each team had to evaluate themselves on a scale of 1–5.
- And here’s the real test: they had to justify their score.
The underlying question was: “Do you really understand the value of your work?” “If today your work is worth 2 points, how can you make it 5 points to sell it during the Expo?”
The jury will look at: Use of diverse materials, Inclusion of natural colors, Making it as big and bold as possible, and most importantly:
Did you go beyond the sample?
Did you show that mindset of always doing more than what’s expected?
This wasn’t just about glue and leaves—it was a lesson in self-worth, pride in effort, and the idea that your value increases when you give more than you’re asked.
Some teams were humble. Others were bold. And a few surprised everyone by scoring lower—only to explain they believed they could’ve done more. That’s integrity. That’s growth.
After the show, we came to the Blind Box Challenge – Design from Mystery
Next up: a fan-favorite—The Blind Box Design Challenge
Each team received mysterious objects hidden inside a box (no peeking!), and their task?: Create something imaginative using only a simple photo for reference: One team made a dreamcatcher. Another built a “basket,” but one very small participant (who wasn’t even on the list!) quietly turned his basket into an ice cream box using only paper and colors—and when asked, simply said:
“This is strawberry, and that’s chocolate.” 🍦
We melted. Just like the ice cream.
🎬 Afternoon hype: Movie Challenge – Learning Through Stories
For the second half of the day, we brought the house down with a film:
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish – a kid-favorite with deeper messages than you'd expect.
The houses had 30 minutes to watch and then reflect—either through discussion or by building creative models or drawings based on what they learned.
Some chose to craft their takeaways, designing props and sets out of paper, recycled materials, and wild imagination. One team even reimagined the storyline by adding their own endings!
💡 Big questions emerged:
What does courage really mean?
Can fear actually help us grow?
What makes a wish… worth chasing?
— — —
🤖 AI + Imagination = Booth Design Time!
For the final mission of Day 2, teams shifted gears from story mode to creation mode—this time with a futuristic twist.
Welcome to the Design Lab. Powered by AI. Fueled by kids.
Their challenge:
Design a booth for their house for Expo Day
Create a house logo that reflects their team’s identity
And… anything else they think would make their presence unforgettable
They used AI tools to help generate artwork, color palettes, and visual ideas—then blended that with their own hands-on crafting and imagination. Some asked the AI for “glowing animal mascots,” others explored themes like unity, nature, or mystery.
Some kids are very excited to see their work turning into tangible products

Day 3. Friday, June 27 - “Today is your day!!!”
Improv Games, Rain Dramas & Big Stage Prep
The final day began not with speeches or assignments, but with laughter and movement—because Mr. Dan had a secret plan: Train the Young Ambassadors in 4 improv games, each one building on the last.
Why? To prepare them (and eventually everyone) for the grand Improv Show—an unscripted, unpredictable, all-eyes-on-you stage experience. No notes. No memorizing. Just courage, creativity, and chaos. 🤹♂️
Young Ambassadors Take the Lead
After learning and practicing the games, the Young Ambassadors were sent off like mini-trainers—each returning to their house team to pass on the torch (and the weird warm-ups).
They taught their peers how to:
Say yes to wild ideas
Think fast on their feet
And most importantly… not freeze when the spotlight hits
What made it exciting? Every kid had to get up there and act—no script, no comfort zone, just instincts and encouragement.
Enter: The Shower That Shook the Schedule
Just as the teams were finding their flow—boom! A rogue shower rolled in. 🌧️
Instant distraction. Bags scrambling. Kids scattering like marbles.
But hey, this is Daily Discovery.
🧭 We quickly moved to a nearby park, regrouped, and reset. No spirits dampened.
The kids got back to prepping for the big Expo in the afternoon, this time with even more motivation (maybe the rain woke them up?).
While most were enjoying a slow lunch and sneaking in a midday nap, the Young Ambassadors were on a mission—racing against the clock to set up for the Expo.
No rest, no pause—just focused footsteps, tape rolls, booth decorations, and whispered teamwork.
Because when the curtain rises, they’re not just participants—they’re the hosts. 💼🎯

🎪 The Afternoon Transformation – Welcome to the Expo!
By the afternoon, something magical happened. 🪄 The participants? No longer “just kids.” They became the hosts, the makers, the movers of the Daily Discovery Expo.
Each house took on a mission-critical role, transforming the park into a living, buzzing world of creativity, trade, fun—and yes, even a little chaos (the good kind).
💂 Team Sentinels – Led by Richard
The silent protectors of the Expo. They roamed the grounds, keeping an eye out for visitors in need, guiding lost parents, and reporting any “abnormalities” to the Boss Squad. Think friendly security with excellent manners and eagle eyes.
🪄 Team Wand Masters – Led by Minh Anh
They ran the Game Zone like pros—explaining rules, guiding curious visitors, and making sure every player earned Talents fairly. Their mission: unlock fun, one challenge at a time.
🐸 Team Goblins – Led by Chilly & Emma
They helped register visitors to the Expo and give them a Play Kit.
They hopped from booth to booth, these little bankers powered the Talent Exchange system. Visitors brought their Talents, and the Goblins converted them into Expo Coins—used to buy cool stuff. They were fast, fair, and maybe a little cheeky too. 💰
🛍️ Team Traders – Led by Luna & Annie
The masters of the marketplace. They managed the Expo Shop—stocking shelves, setting prices, selling with style, and handling change like pros. Smooth, strategic, and surprisingly persuasive. Some parents were gently “upsold.” 👀
📸 Team Snappers – Led by Victor
With cameras in hand and curiosity in their eyes, the Snappers became our official media crew. They captured photos, filmed moments, and conducted spontaneous interviews with guests. Their mission: turn the Expo into a story everyone could take home.
🎉 The Result?
An immersive, messy, heartwarming little ecosystem—run entirely by kids.
Visitors walked through not just a fair, but a vision: A world where children lead with purpose, creativity, and teamwork.

For all - Performance evaluation

For our Young Ambassadors, below is further details on their entire journey, starting from the Pre-event Training Activities, online and offline in Hanoi, till the bootcamp and beyond. For other members, if you would love to have
DAV79 offered a heartfelt reflection on the ambassadors’ journey—some of which he shared privately with parents. He emphasized that the purpose of the program was never just to run a bootcamp. Instead, it was to empower the ambassadors to take ownership, make decisions, and truly experience what it means to lead from within.
From the very beginning, the ambassadors were placed in unpredictable, real-world situations. DAV79 began by enforcing a firm structure to give them grounding. But as the days progressed and he saw them step up, he gradually loosened the framework—allowing them to adapt, improvise, and build their own rhythm.
The conditions were constantly shifting: unpredictable weather, variable participation from partners, fluctuating audience energy. Conflicting approaches naturally surfaced. And like in real life, the ambassadors had to navigate the chaos, resolve differences, and execute—on their own terms.
“This wasn’t meant to be a showcase of polished success,” DAV79 shared.
“It was a playground of transformation—where rising from setbacks and facing roadblocks head-on was more important than looking good. I was intentionally tough on them. But what moved me most was that none of them ever took the corrections personally. They understood. They absorbed. They grew. It was a brutal three-day experience, and I was deeply impressed.”
He concluded with one final note:
“Now, I want to hear from the parents. I want to know—did they see the growth too?”
This wasn’t about perfection. It was about how far each ambassador had traveled—and how powerfully they stood back up when they fell.
Emma - Young Ambassador
Emma stood out to DAV79 as supportive, generous, emotionally intelligent, and especially good at sensing others’ needs. One moment that impressed him deeply was when she brought Annie onboard without being asked and later sacrificed her own opportunity so that her brother Richard could shine. As DAV79 noted:
"Emma was the first to actually bring in Annie onboard during the session, and she did that even without any support, any requirement, any requests."
Another moment that moved him was how she identified who needed help during their park walk and acted on it:
"Emma had incredible sensing to see who to speak with... though she had trouble, her desire to help her brother... she sacrificed her role."
However, DAV79 also pointed out that Emma needs to build cognitive speed and sharpen her critical thinking skills to grow further.
Luna the fox - Young Ambassador
Luna was recognized as a deep thinker, highly articulate, visionary, and someone who shows strong leadership within familiar environments. DAV79 admired her ability to think 10 steps ahead:
"She was actually 10 steps ahead of other kids of the cohort... she could see where we were going."
He was also struck by her emotional journey when placed in a group outside her comfort zone:
"She started to crack... emotionally strained, but eventually navigated her way through it."
Despite this, Luna needs to develop more emotional sensitivity, learn to soften her blunt communication, and build resilience when facing competition or challenges.
Annie - Young Ambassador
DAV79 found Annie to be consistent, determined, and a subtle leader who quietly commanded the respect of her peers. A moment that impressed him was when she bounced back from emotional dips and inspired active followers:
"There were people looking up to her... not just passive followers... a strong leadership trait in the making."
Still, Annie should strike a healthier balance between her competitiveness and mindfulness, avoiding the trap of being driven only by recognition:
"She does it because she wants to be visible... play with some of her vanity—but that’s a dangerous line."
Annie-chan… Haiii!
It became a running ritual—every time someone called out “Annie-chan…”, she would instantly respond with an enthusiastic, high-pitched “Haiii!”—like a scene straight out of a Japanese anime skit.
And just when the laughter was settling, DAV79—stoic, seasoned, and the eldest of them all—would chime in with perfect comedic timing:
“Nani ga suki…?”
(“What do you love…?”)
They’d both break into giggles, like two kids caught in a meme from a trending Japanese commercial. The moment was always light, absurd, and oddly heartwarming. It wasn't just an inside joke—it was a bonding code.
Even Annie’s mother looked on, eyebrows raised in disbelief, half-smiling at the surreal sight: How did DAV79—the wise mentor of the group—know something so specific, so Gen Z, so… Annie?
DAV79 knew he had to meet them in their world. And by doing so, he earned more than just their respect—he earned their laughter, their trust, and their joy. But that didn’t mean he always let things slide. He wasn’t afraid to be firm when it mattered.
At one point, Annie’s mother gently pulled him aside and offered a subtle piece of feedback:
“You’re a bit harsh with them sometimes…”
DAV79 smiled, unfazed, and replied with his usual mix of honesty and humor:
“Only sometimes, ma… when things need to get done. But yes—you're always there to make up for it, aren’t you?”
It was a quiet acknowledgment of balance. He pushed them forward, and the parents pulled them close. And in between that tension, the children grew.
Richard - Young Ambassador
Richard came across to DAV79 as someone with high energy, a strong memory, and a keen ability to absorb and replicate concepts. He admired Richard’s willingness to engage when prompted:
"Richard responds well to direction... he's eager to participate."
However, Richard needs substantial development in emotional sensing, critical thinking, and judgment. DAV79 emphasized:
"His mind can only understand one variable at a time... he has close to zero sensing."
Without improvement in these areas, his leadership and interpersonal effectiveness may remain limited.
Minh Anh - Young Ambassador
To DAV79, Ming radiated joyful enthusiasm and subconscious clarity. Despite initial isolation, she transformed during the program:
"Given she had not been in a community ever... the metamorphosis was amazing."
Her subconscious drive and confidence, even if not always articulated, stood out as rare:
"She knows exactly what she wants... the power of her subconscious mind may be stronger than others."
Still, Ming should focus on maintaining consistent engagement and articulating her inner clarity, as she sometimes withdraws or avoids interaction when not spotlighted.
Victor - Young Ambassador
Initially viewed by DAV79 as distracted and disruptive, Victor surprised him by showing grit and resilience once given a task:
"Give Victor a task and he will die, die, die completely... I saw in him a form of grit."
He showed persistence with activities like parachord making and interviews when scoring incentives were clear. But Victor must improve in strategic leadership and attention span:
"He lacks the ability to bring his team along... not able to think beyond short-term scores."
Lisa - Young Ambassador
Liza was seen as emotionally expressive and capable when motivated. DAV79 saw flashes of potential when she connected with someone’s purpose and followed with sincerity:
"She kind of was inspired by that person... if we can get her the right inspiration, she’ll follow through."
However, her identity issues and easy distractibility were concerning. He observed that:
"She suffers from a lack of belongingness... she’s seeking validation."
Liza needs deep coaching, mindfulness, and space to discover her own purpose—beyond external validation or approval.
Chilly - Young Ambassador
Chilly impressed DAV79 with her clarity, decisiveness, and influence. Though she joined late, she quickly made her presence felt:
"She stood up and said no when an adult disrupted the session... not many kids can do that."
Her ability to spot dysfunction and act earned his respect. Still, Chilly’s tendency to command rather than persuade could alienate peers:
"She can give orders, but she has to learn the art of persuasion, not the art of war."
He tasked her to shift focus from “winning the game” to “winning hearts.” Her transformation was noticeable:
"I was surprised and amazed with her metamorphosis."
Wybie - Young Ambassador Leader
Wybie was often seen as quiet and thoughtful, always searching for clarity and direction. Throughout the program, he consistently gave his best—and one quality stood out clearly: his ability to manage pressure with calm and control. When channeled effectively, that trait alone puts him among the best we’ve seen at his age.
However, his tendency to procrastinate under low pressure remains. As DAV79 reflected:
“I’ve known Wybie for a long time and have personally followed his journey. He’s always wowed me. Of course, I’ve been tough on him—but he genuinely tries to solve things. It’s only at the very last moment, when the pressure peaks, that he finally lets go and acts.”
There were brief, revealing moments when his leadership instincts broke through—snap decisions made under stress:
“Even when he snapped, it wasn’t emotional—it was just a release. And that’s okay—we were watching for signs.”
To continue growing, Wybie must now focus on developing strategic foresight, sustained pressure resilience, and the ability to inspire with vision. Physical conditioning might also support this next phase—helping align mental stamina with physical endurance. Without these next steps, there’s a risk that his leadership potential remains underused.
Still, his progress is undeniable. DAV79 was quietly moved by Wybie’s solo leadership effort—successfully guiding a training mission that supported six ambassadors and over thirty aspiring participants.
“Super proud of you, lad,” DAV79 said with a rare smile.
In the eyes of Team FD, Wybie isn’t just growing—he’s stepping into his own and influencing others as well to step beyond their comfort zone.

There's a growing need for us to become immersed with the rapid development pace of the world today. I believe the programma would aim to foster some key aspects to become a Global Citizen, not all aspects, of course, but a lot of fun activities and communication. PErsonally, experiences remain as great teachers, and so I believe the bootcamp would be a teacher for both us and the participants. I wonder what the specific activities are... whether we'd learn from them or the experience of just being in the event itself
